Jerome Selected to Lead Institutional Advancement at Cone Health
Larry Jerome has been named senior vice president of institutional advancement at Cone Health. Jerome will lead the philanthropy efforts of Cone Health that support its patients, families and communities.
Philanthropy plays an increasingly vital role in Cone Health’s ability to provide amenities and services that our patients, families and communities have come to expect and deserve. Examples include scholarships for nurses seeking advanced degrees, enhancements to the Cone Health Center for Children and support services at our cancer centers and sickle cell center.
The son and grandson of college presidents, Jerome knows the power of philanthropy firsthand. “Philanthropy is an incredible force in society,” says Jerome. “I really enjoy connecting people with organizations and helping them achieve their dreams of strengthening those organizations in ways that help us all.”
Jerome comes to Cone Health from Brakeley Briscoe, a national consulting firm, where he served as a senior consulting associate. Prior to his eight years there, Jerome worked with several health care organizations, including Lifespan, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Yale University School of Medicine and Wesleyan University.
Jerome is a graduate of St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in government.
