Cone Health Foundation Announces New Board Member
Cone Health Foundation, Guilford County’s largest health-specific philanthropy, recently announced that it has added a new Board of Directors member, Paul A. Jeffrey, to serve a three-year term.
Paul A. Jeffrey is president of Wesley Long Hospital and is Cone Health’s first chief inclusion officer.

He was named Wesley Long Hospital’s president in March 2007, and chief inclusion officer in September 2012. Jeffrey joined Cone Health in January 2004 serving as vice president/administrator of the Behavioral Health Center.
Jeffrey earned his master's degree in business administration from Florida International University, Miami, and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida, Gainesville.
Jeffrey is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Institute for Diversity in Health Management and the National Center for Healthcare Leaders – Diversity and Inclusion Task Force. He also serves on the board of the National Conference for Community and Justice of the Piedmont Triad and as a council member for Innovate Greensboro. He is involved with the Latino Coalition Community of Guilford County and Casa Azul. Previous community leadership roles include President of the Triad Healthcare Executives Forum; President of the Latino Professional Forum; and President of the Mental Health Association of Greensboro.
Jeffrey has been recognized as a Notable Latino of the Triad three years in a row, and received the 2011 Change Agent Award by the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce for positively impacting diversity and inclusion.
