Cone Health Announces Two New Directors
New directors of oncology nursing and of marketing have been named.
Cone Health has announced that two individuals have moved into a director role. Mary Moon, BSN, RN, has been named director of oncology nursing for Cone Health Cancer Center at Wesley Long Hospital.

Neil Shoffner is now director of marketing for Cone Health.
Moon comes to Cone Health from Person Memorial Hospital in Roxboro. There, she most recently served as chief nursing officer. She brings 28 years of nursing experience to her new role.
Moon earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University and holds a master’s degree in human resource management from Keller Graduate School. She holds certifications as an advanced nurse executive and in patient safety.
Shoffner has been with Cone Health since 2012 and has served as marketing manager for several Cone Health locations. In his new role, he will lead a team of six, serving as a thought-leader and strategic partner in the marketing and communication of Cone Health.
Shoffner has an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as well as a master’s of business administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
