Cone Health Extends Free Virtual Visits Through the End of the Month

With hundreds of people still in area shelters, Cone Health is extending easy-access, free health care.

Cone Health has extended free virtual health care visits through 11:59 p.m. Sunday, September 30. Hundreds of people remain in shelters across the five county-area Cone Health serves. They remain unable to return home due to flooding and power outages caused by Hurricane Florence.

People can go to virtualvisits.conehealth.com or download the Cone Health Virtual Visit app from the App Store or Google Play to obtain a visit. Once they register for the service, they can use the coupon code “CONEFLORENCERELIEF” (all caps) to avoid the usual $49 charge.

Cone Health virtual visits cover 18 conditions frequently treated in adults and children.

  • Acne
  • Allergies
  • Constipation
  • Cough
  • Diarrhea
  • Ear Problems
  • Fever
  • Flu
  • Headache
  • Insect Bites
  • Nausea
  • Pink Eye
  • Rash
  • Respiratory Problems
  • Sore Throats
  • Urinary problems
  • Vaginitis
  • Vomiting

Upper respiratory problems and headaches are the two biggest reasons people are seeking virtual care.
