Cone Health Receives 2019 Eddy Award
The award recognizes efforts around financial wellness.
Cone Health was recently recognized for its financial wellness program for employees. The Eddy Awards is an annual program through Pension & Investments that recognizes plan sponsors and service providers for best practices in offering investment and financial education to plan participants.
This year, the Eddy Awards added a new category – financial wellness – and Cone Health earned first place through its efforts to help employees better manage their financial lives.
"We started a financial wellness campaign in January 2018. We have a very robust employee wellness program, but we were lacking in the area of financial wellness,” says Becca Jones, retirement specialist at Cone Health. “We started off by surveying our employees and asking them about their financial priorities. And then we took that information and created an entire financial wellness campaign. We have a wide variety of employees. And financial wellness is different for everyone."
Cone Health’s financial wellness program includes tools to educate employees of all ages on a variety of financial wellness topics. Employees also have access to workshops and one-on-one meetings with financial advisors.
