Hiring and Achievements at Cone Health
The following people have been promoted or have achieved professional milestones at Cone Health.
Jessica Brown, MSN, RN, has been named director of the Women’s Care Center at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Brown joined Alamance Regional in 2004. She has worked in a number of leadership positions, most recently leading labor and delivery in The BirthPlace.
Debbie Garwood, BSN, RN, is the new coordinator for the congregational nurse program. Garwood joined Cone Health in 2016 as assistant director of the Guilford County Congregational Nurse Program. Over the last two years, she worked with Lelia Moore, RN, BSN, on various congregational nursing initiatives in Guilford and Rockingham Counties.
Elissa Langley has been named to the policy committee of the National Association of ACOs (Accountable Care Organizations). The committee provides feedback to association staff on issues related to accountable care, including proposed regulations and legislation under consideration by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and Congress. Langley is vice president and chief operating officer of Triad HealthCare Network.
John Moody, MD, has been named medical director of radiation oncology at Cone Health. He will lead physicians and other providers at Cone Health Cancer Center at Alamance Regional Medical Center, Cone Health Cancer Center at Wesley Long Hospital, and Randolph Cancer Center. Moody joined Cone Health Cancer Center in 2008.
