Remodeled Play Room Provides Respite for Kids at Moses Cone Hospital

The remodeled play room is a space where kids can be kids.

Children have a new space all their own at The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. A remodeled playroom opened in the children's unit.

The Joy in Childhood Foundation, the charitable foundation supported by Dunkin’ & Baskin-Robbins and Starlight Children’s Foundation provided a grant renovating the area for children and their siblings who spend time in the hospital.

The play area features, a place to shoot hoops, a medical play area and vintage video games. Children of staff and a few children on the unit were among the first to try out.
