Schneider Leads Fundraising at Cone Health

Michelle Schneider has been named vice president and chief philanthropy officer for Cone Health. Schneider has led Cone Health’s fundraising efforts on an interim basis since January.
Schneider joined Cone Health as senior philanthropy officer in 2017. She worked closely with the philanthropy team, leading fundraising efforts helping Cone Health provide exceptional care to the communities it serves.
Previously, Schneider was senior counsel for Capital Development Services in Winston-Salem. She has also served as the director of development for Habitat for Humanity and as the campaign director for the University of North Carolina at Greensboro’s Students First Campaign, which raised more than $100 million.
Schneider earned a bachelor’s degree in social work and a master’s degree in public affairs from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). She serves as board chair of The Enrichment Fund for Guilford County Schools Inc. Schneider is a member of the UNCG Alumni Board and the board of the Women’s Professional Forum.
