Church Donates Money for More Covid-19 Testing
Mt. Zion Greensboro sees the gift as service to the city.
Mt. Zion, Greensboro, presented Cone Health with a check for $5,000. The gift will help pay for more COVID-19 testing. Mt. Zion has been the site of COVID-19 testing for 9 weeks. More than 1,800 people have been tested.
The church sees its mission as serving the city and this as furthering that effort. Lead Senior Pastor Bryan J. Pierce says testing keeps the community safe, “When we know better, we do better,” Pierce says. People with positive results are encourage to quarantine from others to avoid spreading COVID-19.
Testing is done at Mt Zion every Wednesday from 8-noon. It is of no cost to those being tested. Appointments are not required. Call 336-890-1140 for more information.
