COVID-19 Testing This Weekend in Burlington

People can be tested for COVID-19 Saturday in Burlington.

COVID-19 testing will be available at the Fairchild Community Center in Burlington. Testing will be done 8:30-11 Saturday morning. The center is at 827 S. Graham Hopedale Rd. The testing is free to the public. It does not require a doctor’s order or an appointment.

Testing is free, though people with insurance should bring their card. Insurance coverage is not required. People living or working in high-risk environments such as restaurants and retail sales are encouraged to be tested. People who have serious medical conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, obesity or other COVID-19 risk factors are also urged to be screened.

People coming for testing should remain in their car and wear a mask. A swab will be used to collect a sample and test results should be available in approximately two to three business days.

Testing is for both adults and children. Testing is a joint effort of the Alamance County Health Department and Cone Health.
