Jordan Named Chief Medical Officer
Dr. David Jordan is the chief medical officer at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
Dr. David Jordan has been named chief medical officer at Alamance Regional Medical Center. For the past seven months, Jordan has been serving as the interim chief medical officer.
As interim chief medical officer, Jordan has been a critical part of Alamance Regional’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. He has worked with the medical staff leading efforts to ensure that patients are safely cared for and team members can confidently care for them.
Since 1994, Jordan has been part of the Alamance Regional team, serving in several leadership roles. These include chief of the medical staff and chairman of the peer review committee.
Jordan is a 2014 graduate of the Cone Health Physician Leadership Academy. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned his medical degree at Wake Forest University Medical School. Jordan trained in internal medicine and radiology in the US Army and is board certified in both.
