A Cornucopia of Thanks at the Women’s & Children’s Center at Moses Cone Hospital

Parents (and staff) will burst with pride over turkeys, pumpkins and gourds.

Newborns at Cone Health Women’s & Children’s Center at Moses Cone Hospital are wasting little time getting in style for Thanksgiving. Babies born Thanksgiving will wear turkey, pumpkin or gourd hats, for example, courtesy of community volunteers.

“While we are thankful for every newborn, not every newborn arrives on Thanksgiving,” says Vivian Langley, the director of guest relations for Cone Health. “Our volunteers provide the caps, which serve as a reminder of the day and bring even more meaning to Thanksgiving for families and our staff alike.”

Baby girl Eveliz is modeling the turkey version of the hat.
