Greensboro – Congratulations to Erin Bull, nursing director at Wesley Long Hospital, and Jared Cooper, director of operations at Cone Health Medical Group. They have been named to the Triad Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list.
The honor recognizes 40 extraordinary young professionals for their leadership and accomplishments in the workplace and in the community.
Erin Bull
Bull provides direct oversight to the Wesley Long Intensive Care Unit. She works with department directors, system leaders and providers to identify and implement project improvement initiatives and report outcomes to senior executives. Bull’s professional accolades include 2023 Daisy Nurse Leader Award, 2022 Triad Nurse of Distinction winner and 2015 Great 100 Nurse of NC.
In addition to her professional achievements, Bull serves as a lay leader at her church. She also volunteers as a softball coach for the Oak Ridge Youth Association.
Jared Cooper
Cooper has driven significant improvements in clinical and centralized teams at Cone Health by championing such initiatives as reducing voluntary turnover, enhancing patient and employee engagement, and saving millions through denials prevention.
As a community volunteer, Cooper has led efforts to integrate community service into Cone Health Medical Groups culture, including organizing annual food drives that have filled local food pantries and benefited hundreds of families. He is also a member of the Downtown Greensboro Rotary Club and plays an active role in supporting philanthropic efforts and community initiatives in the Future Fund of Greensboro.
On Feb. 20, 2025, Bull and Cooper will be honored by the Triad Business Journal at a celebration at High Point University.
