Andy Barrow Named a Chief Financial Officer to Know

Becker’s Healthcare recognizes top financial leaders.    

Greensboro – Cone Health Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer Andy Barrow has been recognized as one of the Chief Financial Offers to Know by Becker’s Healthcare for 2025.  

In the last year, under Andy’s financial leadership, Cone Health closed its transaction becoming part of Risant Health. He has also restructured the finance division in support of the organization’s changing needs. Barrow also recently executed the successful repurchase of HealthTeam Advantage, making it the sole owner of the Greensboro, North Carolina-based Medicare Advantage plan.  

Before he became chief financial officer, Barrow served as Cone Health’s senior vice president of finance and vice president of financial services. Prior to joining Cone Health in 2012, he was a corporate comptroller at Cape Fear Health System in Fayetteville, North Carolina, the corporate director of finance at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland and a consulting manager at Cohen, Rutherford + Knight, CPA, also in Bethesda.  

In 2024, Barrow was named a C-Suite Award winner by the Triad Business Journal.
