Cone Health Celebrates Ten Pregnant ARMC Nurses

Ten nurses at the Women and Children's Center at Alamance Regional Medical Center have announced simultaneous pregnancies.
The nurses, who work together at the center, are in various stages of pregnancy, with some just beginning and others nearing their due dates. Several have already given birth.
The unexpected coincidence has brought excitement and camaraderie to the workplace. "It's really fun to be excited for one another," said Brooke Rebelo, one of the pregnant nurses.
The group includes first-time mothers and those expecting their second or third child. They recently shared their food cravings, which range from salty to sweet.
Kelly Greeson, one of the nurses, joked about her potato chip obsession. "I thought the baby was going to turn into a potato chip," she said. Greeson was the attending nurse on duty when a colleague went into labor recently and helped deliver the baby.
The nurses said the most challenging part of working while pregnant is the 12-hour shifts. However, they expressed their love for their jobs and plan to return to work after maternity leave. The last of the group is due in March 2026.
