Last year, Cone Health treated 997 people for heart attacks. Quick and effective treatment was crucial. Cone Health follows the latest guidelines and research, ensuring the best results for patients. Other aspects of national-leading heart care include smoking cessation counseling, aggressive cardiac rehabilitation and other steps to help people avoid future heart attacks.

“From pioneering treatments such as balloon angioplasty and stents to setting national standards for rapid treatment, Cone Health has always been at the forefront of treating heart attacks,” says Ruth Fisher, vice president, Cone Health Heart & Vascular Center. “This continued recognition shows how important it is to us to continually improve care and ensure our patients return to the healthiest lives possible.”
