Cone Health Names President, Alamance Regional Medical Center and Annie Penn Hospital

Chad Boore will oversee operations for the two Piedmont hospitals.

 

Greensboro- Chad Boore has joined Cone Health as the president, Alamance Regional Medical Center and Annie Penn Hospital.

In this role, Boore will oversee the strategic growth and operational effectiveness of the two hospitals. Alamance Regional Medical Center is a 238-bed medical and surgical hospital in Burlington, North Carolina and Annie Penn Hospital is a 110-bed acute care facility in Reidsville, North Carolina. Chad Boore

Boore will also lead the development of programs and services tailored to the needs of the Burlington and Reidsville communities and forge partnerships with other leaders across the system.

Boore has more than 20 years of senior leadership experience spanning non-profit, for-profit and academic leadership positions. Most recently, he served as the market chief operating officer for MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, a regional health care ministry of Trinity Health. Before that, Boore was the eastern region chief executive officer for OSF HealthCare in Peoria, Illinois, and president of OSF St. Joseph Medical Center.

He received his MBA with an emphasis in health care administration from the University of New Orleans and received a bachelor’s degree from Truman State University.
