Cone Health Brings Home the Gold

Four wins highlight Cone Health’s commitment to human experience

Cone Health brought home three awards at the 2025 WALLIE Awards during the Carolinas Healthcare Public Relations & Marketing Society (CHPRMS) conference at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville, N.C. The event ran Nov. 19–21.  Three WALLIE Awards

In addition, Cone Health also earned a national MarCom Gold Award for Digital Marketing last month, showcasing the breadth of our award-winning advertising strategy across traditional and digital platforms.

These awards recognize health care marketing that truly connects with patients through clear communication, compelling storytelling and strategies that improve access to care. Winning entries demonstrate how creative work can make health care easier to understand and more personal.

WALLIE Awards

  • Brand: Vital Signs: 60 — Television Advertising  
  • Cancer Care: Bell :30 & In Conversation :30 — Television Advertising Campaign  
  • Orthopedics: Ortho Print - Shadow of Yourself — Print Advertising 

MarCom Gold Award 

Digital Marketing Award for leveraging healthcare-specific expertise to improve conversion tracking, ensure privacy compliance, and create synergy between Cone Health’s website and digital ads. 

Context

The WALLIE awards were presented at the CHPRMS annual conference. The theme was Rise Above, honoring resilience in Western North Carolina one year after devastating storms. 

More than 35 organizations earned WALLIE and Golden Tusk Awards for excellence in marketing, public relations and communications. Awards were presented in categories including web design, social media, video, publications and TV advertising. 

A national panel of marketing and communications professionals judged entries based on creativity, strategy and measurable results. 

The MarCom Awards are an international competition recognizing excellence in marketing and communication, including digital advertising. Administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), the awards honor campaigns that blend creativity, strategy, and measurable impact across online platforms. 

These awards were earned in partnership with our advertising agency partners, Mythic and Geonetric.
