Parents Love Play!
For many people, it helps make exercise a family affair.
For the past year, Elizabeth and Chris Mismash, along with their two children, JonLuca (5) and Helaine (3), have happily enjoyed Sagewell’s family membership. Sagewell got on the family’s radar thanks to a friend’s recommendation. After touring the facility on Drawbridge Parkway, they moved their membership from another Greensboro gym to Sagewell Health & Fitness. 
One aspect that sealed the deal for them was the Play! program – something both their children can benefit from while Elizabeth and Chris work out.
“The facility itself is beautiful and always very clean, but what makes it truly special is how family friendly it is,” Elizabeth says. “We love the Play! program and staff for the kids, the gymnastic classes included in our membership and the pools. Swimming together as a family has become a highlight for us.”
The Mismashes want as many of their friends as possible to know about Sagewell, too, so they’re constantly recommending the facility to other families. “We tell parents about how wonderful the Play! program is, the friendly and qualified staff and the wide range of classes available for both adults and kids,” Elizabeth shares. “A couple of our friends have actually joined after hearing about our experience.”
During the school year, the Mismash family visits Sagewell at least three evenings a week, and they say it feels like a true community for both the adults and children because they see familiar faces every time they’re at the gym.
In fact, the family feels so comfortable at Sagewell that they hosted their son’s 5th birthday party there. “We had such a wonderful experience!” Elizabeth says. “The staff made everything easy and fun, and we’d love to do the same for our daughter’s birthday.”
