Cone Health Wins Two Telly Awards

The recognized videos improved health screenings.

   

Greensboro – Cone Health has earned two Bronze Awards in the 46th Annual Telly Awards, honoring standout video and television content across all screens. The videos encouraged early detection of colon and prostate cancers. 46th Annual Telly Awards - Bronze Winner

The videos were part of Cone Health’s “Get Screened” campaign that increased the number of completed at-home colorectal cancer tests by 25%. “We’re honored by the award, but even more grateful that it has helped more people get screened. That’s what really matters,”  
says Cone Health Marketing Manager Jo B. Andrews, APR.

Produced in collaboration with Garlic Farmer Productions of Greensboro, the videos spotlight life-saving messages about recent changes in screening guidelines. They reflect Cone Health’s commitment to increasing awareness, early detection and reducing cancer disparities across the region. 

Cone Health's campaign was recognized in two categories:

  • General – Health & Safety 
  • Series – Health & Wellness 

The health system was also a finalist in a third category. 

The Telly Awards celebrates excellence in storytelling and video production, receiving over 13,000 global entries. This year’s winners include industry leaders such as ESPN, NASA, LinkedIn and Pixar Animation Studios.
