Triad HealthCare Network Names Chief Administrative Officer
Bethany Porterfield at the helm of the leading accountable care organization
Greensboro- Triad HealthCare Network (THN), a leading accountable care organization and clinically integrated network focused on value-based care, has appointed Bethany Porterfield as its new Chief Administrative Officer. 
In this role, Porterfield will collaborate with THN’s chief clinical officer to execute network strategies, manage governance committees, and ensure contractual obligations are met. She will also lead the development of growth strategies to expand THN’s impact across the region.
She brings a wealth of experience in value-based care transformation. Her leadership will be instrumental in helping THN advance the delivery of high-quality, value-based care—improving health, preventing illness and lowering costs.
Porterfield brings more than 15 years of experience in value-based care, clinically integrated networks, and payer strategy. Prior to this role, she served as director of operations for Cone Health’s Value-Based Care Institute, where she led the operational launch of the institute, unified digital and clinical infrastructure and developed a CIN-wide incentive model for independent providers.
Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at Triad HealthCare Network, MedCost, and Cornerstone Healthcare, where she led M&A efforts, developed care models and improved operational performance.
She holds master’s degrees in health administration and business administration from Pfeiffer University and a bachelor's degree in industrial and organizational psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
