Greensboro- Cone Health and Triad Business Journal invite the community to join the Women’s Health Summit on Tuesday, Sept. 30, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. The event will be held at the Cadillac Service Garage, 304 E Market St, Greensboro. Breakfast is provided. The Women’s Health Summit is designed for women balancing careers, family responsibilities, and personal growth. Attendees will hear inspiring stories, connect with peers, and gain insight into wellness and leadership.
According to a recent Cone Health/Business Journal survey:
- Only 15% of women leaders say their health plan fully covers women‑specific care
- 42% report significant coverage gaps
- Only4 in 10 have comprehensive workplace policies—
- 70% of respondents want women‑focused wellness programs and 62% better mental‑health access. The Women’s Health Summit is designed to address these realities head-on—offering a space for connection, education, and empowerment.
“This event is about empowering women to take control of their health and well-being. There are obstacles that we face every day, and conversations like this are exactly what we need to be doing to help address them,” says Dr. Peggy Constant, an obstetrician and gynecologist with Cone Health and moderator of the keynote conversation.
