Adamolekun Makes Prestigious Human Resources and Chief People Officer List
Becker’s Hospital Review recognizes top leaders.
Greensboro – Cone Health Executive Vice President and Chief People + Culture Officer Michelle Adamolekun has again been named to the Hospital and Health System CHROs and Chief People Officers to Know in 2026 by Becker’s Hospital Review, a leading health care publication. 
Health care jobs are in short supply and in high demand. Adamolekun has worked to make Cone Health a choice destination for health care workers.
Under her leadership, Cone Health became the state’s first health system to earn the Family Forward NC® certification. Cone Health has also been recognized on such lists as Newsweek’s Best Employers for Inclusion and Diversity in 2025 and Greatest Workplaces for Women in 2025 and 2026, as well as Forbes Best Employers for Women in 2024. Cone Health was also recertified as a Great Place to Work® for the fifth time in 2025.
She was named to the Triad Business Journal’s Outstanding Women in Business list and was the recipient of Modern Healthcare’s Women Leaders award in 2024.
