Cone Health Makes List of America’s Greatest Workplaces in Health Care 2026

Ranking based on surveys, compensation and work-life balance.

Greensboro – Cone Health has been named to the Newsweek list of America’s Greatest Workplaces in Health Care 2026. The full list can be viewed on the Newsweek website.

Why it matters: Like other organizations on this list, Cone Health prioritizes employee well-being, strong leadership, fair compensation and work-life balance. The fact that Cone Health has been named to this prestigious list is a testament to our commitment to foster an engaged workforce. Newsweek Great Places to Work in Health Care logo

America’s Greatest Workplaces in Health Care 2026 evaluates top health care employers with over 1,000 employees based on 10 dimensions of workplace satisfaction. The ranking is built on a large, multi-source dataset, including a 2025 national survey with over 400,000 reviews from 100,000+ employees, combined with earlier studies (2022–2024) totaling 460,000 reviews and 168,000 interviews (weighted less).

“It’s truly an honor to be included on this list and recognized for our ongoing commitment to building a workplace where our team members feel supported, valued and empowered,” said Michelle Adamolekun, executive vice president and chief people and culture officer at Cone Health.

“When we foster genuine belonging and create an environment where everyone can thrive, we strengthen our ability to deliver exceptional care to the patients and communities we serve.”

In February, Cone Health was recognized by Newsweek as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Women.
