Cone Health Names System-wide Chief Pharmacy Officer
Kristen Kruszewski brings more than 20 years of pharmacy experience to the role.
Greensboro – Cone Health has named Kristen Kruszewski, PharmD, MBA, as its system-wide chief pharmacy officer. Kruszewski will provide strategic and operational leadership for all pharmacy services including those in hospitals and those that sell directly to consumers.

Her work includes expanding the reach of the Cone Health Community Pharmacy network, which sells medications directly to consumers. The retail network has eight locations in four cities. Kruszewski will also elevate clinical quality and safety and ensure affordability for patients and Cone Health.
Kruszewski has extensive experience in supply chain strategy and value-based care models. Recently, she led Cone Health’s pharmacy integration work with Risant Health, where she focused on procurement optimization and clinical service expansion.
During this time, Kruszewski helped implement Cone Health’s Pharmacotherapy Clinic and expanded home delivery of medications to more than 200 additional consumers.
Kruszewski holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and is board certified in sterile compounding.
