Cone Health Nurses Earn Great 100 Recognition
Ten Cone Health nurses are among North Carolina's most outstanding nursing professionals.
Greensboro-- Ten nurses from Cone Health have been named to the 2026 Great 100 Nurses in North Carolina list, an annual recognition program that honors exceptional nurses who demonstrate excellence in patient care, leadership and service.
Exceptional nurses are essential to delivering high-quality health care. They serve as advocates, educators, and caregivers—often at the most critical moments in someone’s life. Their clinical expertise, compassion, and ability to lead directly impact how well a person does and the overall experience of care.
“I am incredibly proud of these nurses and the impact they have on their patients, colleagues and communities every day,” says Vi-Anne Antrum, DNP, RN, Cone Health System-Wide Chief Nursing Officer. “Being nominated by fellow nurses speaks volumes about the trust and respect they’ve earned in the profession. They lead by example and represent the very best of Cone Health nursing.”

The Great 100 Nurses celebration will be held on Sept. 26 at the Koury Convention Center.
The Great 100 Nurses of North Carolina is a nonprofit organization honoring registered nurses who demonstrate excellence in practice and leadership. Nurses are nominated by their peers and selected for their commitment to improving health care and enhancing the well-being of their communities. The 2026 honorees will be celebrated at the 38th Annual Great 100 Gala on Sept. 26 at the Koury Convention Center in Greensboro.
