Cone Health Leaders Complete Rigorous Executive Training Program
Dr. Valerie Leschber and Bev Cleveland will bring innovative ideas and leadership to their work in the Cone Health network.
GREENSBORO– Two Cone Health leaders have completed a rigorous training program, learning skills that will help advance the health care system’s mission to provide excellent care to the communities it serves.
Dr. Valerie Leschber, chief medical officer, Cone Health, and Bev Cleveland, chief financial officer, Cone Health Medical Group, completed The Academy GE Fellows Program. The two-year fellowship provides high-potential health care executives with the tools necessary to take on senior executive positions in leading health systems.
Leschber completed the CMO Fellowship, Cleveland completed the Finance Executive Fellowship, and both completed the inaugural MHA Program. The leaders gained essential health care knowledge, leadership skills and business acumen that will benefit the entire Cone Health system.

The Health Management Academy is a peer learning company that brings together leading health system and industry executives to address the industry’s biggest challenges and opportunities. Fellowship Program candidates must be nominated by senior C-suite executives and meet several criteria to take part in the highly competitive program.
