Santa Claus Gets COVID-19 Booster at Cone Health Vaccination Site

Jolly Old Saint Nick wanted some added protection as he prepares for this year’s trip around the world.

REIDSVILLE – Before he makes his annual visit to boys and girls across the globe, Santa Claus made a quick stop in Reidsville on Thursday to get ready for his trip.

Santa traveled to Cone Health’s vaccination clinic at Reidsville Christian Church to get his COVID-19 booster ahead of the holiday run. He says the last thing he wants is to get COVID or spread it to others this year.

Although he admitted to being a little afraid of needles, Santa said he didn’t feel a thing. He even promised nurse Sandi Dortch, who gave him the booster, “a little something extra under the tree.”

Before leaving, Santa encouraged everyone to get vaccinated against COVID-19. Cone Health is offering first, second and booster doses of the COVID-19 vaccine at several locations across the Piedmont Triad.
