Surrounded by family, colleagues and Cone Health staff, the local news anchor rang the bell on Tuesday.

Greensboro, NC – It was a moment of relief, reflection and celebration for a popular local news anchor.

On Tuesday, WFMY News 2's Julie Luck triumphantly rang a golden bell at Cone Health MedCenter Greensboro at Drawbridge Parkway, marking the end of her colon cancer treatments with the health system. Luck took in the moment while surrounded by family, colleagues and Cone Health staff.

Before marking the special moment, Luck shared words of gratitude for everyone who supported her along the way.

"I've been surrounded by love from the very beginning, and so I'm very grateful for this day," she said.

Luck will once again appear on televisions across the Triad as she makes her return to work on Wednesday.
