Biography

Dana Brooks, DO, is board certified in family medicine with an added qualification in sports medicine. His professional interests include ultrasound (including guided injections), gait analysis, sports coverage, concussion management, exercise prescription guidance, fracture management, orthobiologics and regenerative medicine.

Using a holistic approach to patient care, he strives to listen first and treat second. He understands all patients’ conditions are different, and he partners with them to develop an individualized treatment plan with their time, desire and physical ability in mind.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, exercising, golfing and reading devotionals.

This doctor is an excellent communicator. He explained my condition in ways that I could understand. I am very visually oriented so I appreciated that he drew a picture of how the ruptured bursa is affecting my elbow. Two other medical professionals participated in my evaluation. The doctor asked me if that was OK and I was very happy to have them as part of the team.

Dana Brooks is an excellent doctor, understands on that I would prefer to heal naturally if possible, so gives me the tools I need in which to do so (i.e. Exercise plan, supplements, etc)

Dana Brooks was very thorough with explaining X-rays and showing relation on charts. He did a physical exam, identified location of pain and weakness and discussed treatment options. He asked my preference. The only thing that remained unclear to both my husband and I after the appt was exactly what was causing the pain and weakness in my left hip.

It was more of a discussion where he made sure to include me in decisions and took time to explain why he felt it would be the best care plan. He followed up visit and result explanation in my chart, same day as visit. Great first visit.
