The Parkinson’s Care Partners Group meetings are conducted in a hybrid format, providing participants the option to attend either in person or virtually via Webex.

Parkinson's disease can be challenging for care partners too. Changing abilities and assuming new roles within the family can cause emotional upheaval. Meeting with a group of peers who are experiencing similar changes is very beneficial for any care partner. This professionally led support group will provide a safe place for Parkinson’s care partners to connect, share challenges, seek solutions, learn about resources and strengthen coping skills.
Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at Cone Health MedCenter Greensboro at Drawbridge Parkway in the multipurpose room across from the cafe on the first floor. Participants can also attend virtually via Webex.

Research has demonstrated that those with Parkinson’s who exercise regularly for 2.5 hours a week had less of a decline in mobility and quality of life.
