Be Healthy Now is excited to present our Junior Chef Cooking Classes for rising 6th through 12th graders.
** Please note that each night is an individual class and participants must register separately for each class. Participants may register for as many classes as they would like to attend as long as the class is not full.
Students get an introduction into hands-on culinary experiences for the beginner. In The Med Way, students will learn about eating a balance of foods that the traditional Mediterranean diet was based on. This includes lots of fruits and vegetables, healthy fats, whole grains, plant protein, and some lean meat protein. Med Way recipes are based on these principles, and aren't necessarily based on the one particular flavor profile that we consider to be "Mediterranean food".
