Virtual Caring for Baby
This class is for both expectant and adoptive parents who want to learn and practice the most up-to-date newborn care for their babies. Focus is on birth through the first six weeks of life. Topics include feeding, bathing, diapering, crying, umbilical cord care, circumcision care and safe sleep. Parents learn to recognize symptoms of illness and when to call the pediatrician. If available, you can have these items on hand to practice during class time: doll or stuffed animal, diaper, onesie, and a receiving blanket.
***PLEASE NOTE: If you are registering for either the virtual or in-person "Childbirth 4-week Series" or the virtual or in-person "Saturday Childbirth Class", you DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER for this class as Baby Care information is presented within these two classes.
This course is held via WebEx. Once you register, you will receive a link via your email at least 24 hours before meeting start time to join the class.
