Description

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

In keeping with CDC recommendations, and out of an abundance of caution, wherever possible Cone Health will be postponing or cancelling in-person group gatherings or converting them to a virtual format.

In light of this policy, the Atypical Parkinsonian Group is currently meeting virtually via Zoom.

To receive the Zoom link to attend, contact Sarah Chambers with LeBauer Neurology at sarah.chambers@conehealth.com.

Support groups offer companionship and support through a very difficult journey, and are greatly beneficial for patients, as well as care partners. Please consider this support group if you are living with, or caring for someone with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD) or Multiple System Atrophy (MSA).

Meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month, from 2 to 3:30 p.m., via Zoom. (Note: schedule change for December - meeting will be on Dec. 7.)

To receive the Zoom link to attend, contact Sarah Chambers with LeBauer Neurology at sarah.chambers@conehealth.com.

Research has demonstrated that those with Parkinson’s who exercise regularly for 2.5 hours a week had less of a decline in mobility and quality of life. We are pleased to offer several online exercise opportunities for those living with Movement Disorders. If interested, please contact Sarah Chambers with LeBauer Neurology at sarah.chambers@conehealth.com.
