This Pre-Diabetes 101 Program will occur over three (3) classes with a 30-minute health coaching call. The program is for people who are diagnosed with pre-diabetes or for people who are at risk of developing diabetes.
The focus of the classes will be on understanding the factors that contribute to developing diabetes and how to prevent or slow the progression of type 2 diabetes by making healthy lifestyle changes. The program focuses on nutrition, weight management, exercise and behavioral change.
The cost of this program is free to Cone Health Employees and family members on a Cone Health Medical Plan and $25 for all community members.
Completion of this program meets the requirements for the Healthy Lifestyle Premium Program's health action step.
