Mandatory Maintenance Mail Order Prescriptions

To protect our community and our employees, and to ensure the Cone Health Outpatient Pharmacies are equipped to continue providing services to our employees and patients, we are taking the following steps:

  • Mail order is mandatory for all maintenance medications for patients living in North Carolina and Virginia.​
  • Your prescriptions will be filled and shipped to you from the Wesley Long Outpatient Pharmacy
  • Medication shipping charges are waived.
  • The early refill restriction has been lifted until 4/14/20. Controlled substance medications are excluded from being filled early​.
  • If you receive controlled substance medications, ask your provider to send your prescription electronically to the Wesley Long Outpatient Pharmacy.
  • Please do not use automated refills for your first shipment of medications.

Process for Mail Order Prescriptions:

  1. Complete this form and then print it.
  2. Fax it to 336-218-5763 or email it to
  3. If you have less than a 7-day supply - include that in subject line.


  • DO NOT call or come to the pharmacies unless you have less than a 7-day supply of medication.​
  • DO come to the pharmacy if you have a new prescription that you don’t take routinely. You may take your prescription to MedCenter High Point, Wesley Long, or ARMC outpatient pharmacy.​
