Pay Your Bill With MyChart

We are thrilled to share some exciting updates that will enhance our patient billing processes, making it easier and more convenient for our patients to manage their healthcare expenses.

New Patient Bill

Starting in mid-January 2025, the bills for most Cone Health patients will have a new look that allows for the ability to pay their balance through MyChart. This change offers numerous benefits:

  • Convenience: Manage and pay your bills in the same place you manage your appointments and prescriptions.
  • Transparency: View details on recent charges and balances due directly in MyChart.
  • Eco-Friendly: Paperless billing options help reduce clutter and support our green initiatives.
  • Security: Payment methods can be securely saved for future use.
  • Automation: Patients can set up automatic payments for both hospital and physician bills.

Additionally, hospital-based billing encounters will now be combined into a single statement. This means all account numbers for each patient under the same guarantor will be reflected in one comprehensive statement, simplifying the billing process.

How To Pay Your Bill

Every patient bill will provide clear instructions on the various ways to pay:

  • Bills that can be paid through MyChart will include the web address and a QR code for easy online payment.
  • Bills from practices without MyChart billing will remain the same and will clearly direct patients to conehealthwallet.com.

Both types of bills can still be paid by phone or through the mail if that is more convenient for you.

What Practices Are Not Part of MyChart Billing

Bill payment through MyChart will first apply to a hospital-based locations and many of our primary and specialty care practices. There are a handful of Cone Health locations where payments will continue to be paid through conehealthwallet.com. This will be clearly marked on your bill. The locations currently without MyChart billing include:

  • Cone Health Alamance Surgical Associates
  • Cone Health Alamance Vein & Vascular Surgery
  • Cone Health Allergy & Asthma Center of NC (all locations)
  • Cone Health Child Advocacy Medical Clinic
  • Cone Health Crossroads Psychiatric Group
