Biography
Mmeyeneabasi D. Omede, MD, specializes in pediatric gastroenterology. Her professional interests include general gastroenterology, inflammatory bowel disease and community and global health.
With a passion for pediatric gastrointestinal health and a background in global health, she focuses not only on managing conditions but on improving quality of life and long-term well-being. Her global journey – from growing up in Nigeria to studying medicine in the Ukraine and practicing in the U.S. – shapes her unique perspective in caring for patients. She is dedicated to treating every child with compassion and respect, listening closely to families and empowering them to actively participate in their care.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling and exploring cities around the world with her family.
