MBA Partnership
Cone Health is proud to offer our resident physicians the opportunity to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in collaboration with UNC Greensboro (UNCG). This innovative partnership allows you to leverage your medical education and training credits, reducing the MBA program’s credit hour requirement from 45 to 33 hours.

- Flexibility: Pursue your MBA online, asynchronously, while completing your clinical training.
- Time-efficient: Complete the program during the final two years of your residency, ending in June of your final year.
- Cost-effective: Reduced course load from 15 to 11 courses and waived application fee means lower overall program costs.
- Certificate option: Focus on essential business skills with a four-course certificate program.
Requirements
- Submit letters of recommendation from your Program Director and DIO.
- Maintain good standing in your residency program with appropriate ACGME milestone progressions.
- Fulfill additional admission requirements as per UNCG MBA program standards at Admissions - Bryan School of Business & Economics.
Tuition Reimbursement
Residents employed by Cone Health are eligible for tuition reimbursement according to our Cone Health policy.
