Salary Information
PGY 4 Fellowship $66,916.27
Vacation
Each resident is allowed 15 days (Monday through Friday) of paid vacation during PGY-4. Holiday scheduling is handled within the individual programs.
Medical Leave
10 days of medical leave are allotted to each resident at the beginning of each training year.
Benefits
Health Insurance
Health Insurance is provided for each resident and family based on Cone Health benefit policies.
Professional Liability Insurance
Professional Liability coverage (including tail coverage) is provided by Cone Health for all residents in pursuit of their duties associated with the curriculum of the training program.
Moving Expenses
Residents moving to Greensboro to begin training will be reimbursed for actual moving expenses up to $750.
Fellowship Activity Expenses
Residents are eligible for reimbursement for the following expenses: NC Medical Licensure/renewal, DEA licensure, ITE pre-exam and exam fee, and CAQ exam fee. Additionally, residents will be reimbursed for registration, hotel accommodations, and flights related to the Advanced Team Physician Course and the AMSSM Annual Meeting. Please note that hotel and flights must be pre-approved by the Program Director. Fellows will be responsible for their own food at conferences and any additional board preparation.
Child Care
The Children's Corner is conveniently located onsite for children of hospital employees.
Meals
Most lunches and 24/7 snacks are provided for free of charge in the physician lounge. Employees receive a discount in the cafeteria.

Free parking is provided
Library/Photocopying
Several electronic resources are available through the Cone Health Medical Library. Residents have free photocopying privileges.
Other Benefits
Residents may receive discounts on charges for certain services provided by Cone Health.
