Free Developmental Screening

If you’re concerned about your child’s growth and development, make an appointment for a free, one-on-one 15-minute screening with a Cone Health occupational, physical or speech therapist. Take advantage of assessments for:

  • Fine motor skills
  • Gross motor skills
  • Sensory processing skills
  • Speech and language skills

If your child lives with asthma, Cone Health provides assistance at multiple locations across the region. The Allergy and Asthma Center of North Carolina, a Cone Health Medical Group practice, has offices in Asheboro, Greensboro, High Point, and Reidsville. Children’s Emergency Department

For immediate care of a sudden illness or serious injury, choose the Children’s Emergency Department, located next to the adult emergency room on the first floor of Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. You’ll benefit from a team and environment focused exclusively on treating and supporting children and families during medical emergencies.

Rehabilitation Services for Kids

Look to Cone Health’s pediatric rehabilitation team for physical, occupational and speech therapy that helps your child reach his or her full potential. You’ll appreciate caring, experienced therapists who customize therapy plans to your child’s interests and abilities.
