Continuum of Care
Find a partner at Moses Cone Hospital for your entire trauma care journey—from the emergency department to intensive care to rehabilitation. If your child is seriously injured, you’ll appreciate our pediatric emergency department and pediatric intensive care unit staffed by compassionate specialists in children’s medical care.
You’ll be in the skilled hands of a team of experts, including licensed physicians and nurses with trauma-specific certifications and training in adult trauma, pediatric emergency care and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS®). You also benefit from surgeons, anesthesiologists, radiologists and a variety of other experts who specialize in trauma care and commit to helping you recover.
Trauma Quality Improvement Program
You can trust us for excellent care because we participate in the American College of Surgeons Trauma Quality Improvement Program (ACS TQIP®). That means your trauma team receives ongoing feedback on the quality of care the Level II Trauma Center provides, compared to other centers across the nation. We provide training in treating specific types of injuries and certain populations, and your providers continually enhance the care you receive.
