I can't get to a doctor's office, how can I get health care?

Mobile Health Units set up in a neighborhood.

The Cone Health Mobile Health program is essentially a health clinic on wheels. Our fleet brings full-service healthcare directly into your neighborhood, workplace, and community space—meeting you where you already are instead of requiring you to make a trip to a clinic.

Cone Health currently operates five specialized mobile units, each designed to address different healthcare needs. These units provide:

  • Primary care
  • Sick care
  • Heart health
  • Cancer screenings
  • Women’s health services
  • General preventive screenings

Who is this program for?

Cone Health’s mobile programs see everyone, regardless of their ability to pay, and financial assistance is available for those who qualify. The mobile screening unit also offers select services at no cost.

Access to healthcare can be life-changing. Early detection of high blood pressure can prevent strokes. Detecting cancer at Stage 1 instead of Stage 4 can save lives.

Mobile medicine removes barriers like transportation, work schedules, and limited provider availability—giving people a fair chance at longer, healthier lives.

Is the quality of care from mobile health the same as in a clinic?

One of the biggest misconceptions is that mobile care is lower quality. In reality, the care provided on Cone Health’s mobile units is the same standard you’d receive in a physician’s office.

Licensed clinical professionals and full medical-grade equipment are used—mobile means more access, not lesser care.
