Tackling Teen Sports Injuries

Here is the answer to a question submitted to Dr. Wainer during the video release Q&A period.

Question:  My question is about Sport Mental blocks. My daughter is having a mental block with her tumbling that she has been able to do for 5 years then all of a sudden she isn't able to do the tumbling. She didn't see anybody fall and she hasn't fallen. This has been going on for about 3 years in November. What can I do to get her past the block and start doing her tumbling again? Thank you.

Answer:  I believe the best way to get her past this is by working with a trained child psychologist. There may be other pressures on her as a young athlete or teen that a trained psychologist can help her with.
