Occupational Therapy

Our occupational therapists can arm you with resources to keep your lifestyle as intact as possible. They can help you know how to introduce equipment or make adjustments to your home or workplace to help you best succeed at staying independent. By working with this team, you’ll be better equipped to make the most of your energy and keep doing the things you love most.

Physical Therapy

The goal of physical therapy is to improve your quality of life by keeping you moving and minimizing or eliminating your pain. Our movement disorder physical therapists will work with you to address things like balance problems, lack of coordination, an impaired gait, and overall weakness.

Speech Therapy

Problems with speaking and swallowing are common symptoms of Parkinson’s and other movement disorders, and so having a team of speech therapists to address these issues is critical. You’ll find that support here at Cone as part of your integrated team of care providers, and our speech therapists will work with you to help you maintain as many communication skills as possible.
