Battling the Flu - Wash Your Hands!

Battling the Flu - Wash Your Hands

Getting the flu is tough. The flu is a highly contagious illness and can occur in children or adults of any age. The flu season typically runs November through April.

  • When going out around town, make sure to wash your hands when you get home.
  • Use hand sanitizer for 15 seconds in the car! That can help, too!
  • Ask your kiddos to wash their hands as soon as they get home from school or activities. This reduces the number of germs in the home.
  • Always wash your hands again before eating, whether you are at home or eating out.

Some people will start spreading the virus even before they realize they have the flu. Make sure to sing the entire alphabet song while washing your hands to be most effective!
