Battling the Flu: See a Health Care Provider in the First 48 Hours

Battling the Flu - See Provider a provider within first 48 Hours

Call your doctor as soon as you have symptoms of the flu (such as muscle aches, body aches, cough, sore throat, fatigue, fevers). We have to start the antiviral medicine within a certain window.

Children under 5 years old, seniors over 65 years old, and anyone at risk for complications, should see a health care provider in the first 48 hours. An antiviral may shorten the flu by one to two days and possibly prevent complications.

A primary care, urgent care, or Instacare or Connected Care provider would be your best and most affordable option for a flu visit. Know your options.
