Women, men and children can join the fight against breast cancer at the Women's Only Walk & Run.
The Women’s Only 5K invites women and individuals self-identifying as female to walk or run. We also encourage involvement from friends and family as volunteers, exhibitors, sponsors and members of the 5K Support Team.
You can also register onsite at The Women's Hospital Education Center, 801 Green Valley Road.
- Friday, Oct. 5, 4-7 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 6, 7:30-8:30 a.m.
IMPORTANT: In-person payments must be made with cash or check. Credit is not accepted. Registration and packet pick-up closes promptly at 8:30 a.m. to avoid delaying the start of the race. No exceptions. T-shirts cannot be guaranteed to those registering on-site.
Women's Only 5K
Women of all ages, including girls 7 years and older, may walk or run the 3.1-mile certified course. Walking teams and families are especially encouraged to register, but they will need to do so individually.
The 3.1-mile course begins at Women's Hospital, follows the Latham Park paved scenic trail to the Cone Health Cancer Center at Wesley Long Hospital and then returns to Women's Hospital.

Girls Only Mini-Run
Girls age 6 and younger may participate in the running of this child-friendly course on The Women's Hospital campus. The Girls-only mini-run is a fun race to teach young girls that they can make a difference too, while building new confidence in their running skills.
For girls 3 and younger, the race course is 200 yards. Those 4 to 6 years of age race on a 400-yard course. A pre-race warm-up with children's music is provided. Each competitor receives a youth T-shirt and a medal.
We encourage partners, friends and family to join the 5K Support Team. For those who supported a survivor in their breast cancer journey, or who would just like to cheer on a participant as they cross that finish line, the 5K Support Team is a wonderful way to show your dedication to this cause. For a donation of $20, 5K Support Team Members will receive a commemorative T-shirt. We encourage members to volunteer for the event as well to show their support.
